Step by step

  1. Plant your hands slightly wider than shoulders and lift your hips into an inverted V.
  2. Keep your torso braced and bend your elbows diagonally backward.
  3. Lower your head toward the floor in front of your hands, without resting on it.
  4. Press back up with control while keeping your hips high.

Common mistakes

  • Dropping the hips into a normal push-up.
  • Resting on the head or flaring elbows straight sideways.
