Step by step

  1. Attach a rope to the high pulley. Face the machine and take one end in each hand.
  2. Stand steadily with knees soft, torso braced and upper arms beside your ribs.
  3. Straighten your elbows to move the rope toward your thighs without moving your shoulders.
  4. Bend the elbows slowly to return, keeping your upper arms still.

Common mistakes

  • Leaning heavily over the rope to press it down.
  • Moving the elbows backward or letting the weight snap upward.
